Salesforce Announces Content Exchange
Apr 10, 2007Today we announced Salesforce Content Exchange, a content management tool for the age of Web 2.0. It makes it incredibly easy to share documents, tag them, rate them, and even subscribe to feeds.
To give you an idea of the need this solves;
- How many times have you been looking for a particular document, but not been able to navigate the labyrinth of files and folders?
- How many times have you spammed your fellow employees with a message like “I’m looking for…”?
- How many times have you distributed a report or presentation, only to find that key information needs to be updated?
Availability for Salesforce Content Edition will be announced later this calendar year, but you can get updates on the Salesforce Content Blog.

I hope this can be exposed to the public through the AppSpace Portal, it would be an invaluable improvement to enable customers to search indexed documents.
