New Salesforce Ad – Let Us Know What You Think
Jul 10, 2009Our Creative Team is working on a new ad and we want to get your feedback. Is this new ad something that would resonate with people who aren't familiar with salesforce.com? Does it embody what salesforce.com is all about?
If you're interested you can also take a look at the comments people have left on the Salesforce.com's Facebook Page or the IdeaExchange on this same topic.

If this is designed for someone who isn't familiar with Salesforce.com, I'm wondering if "Cloud Computing" as the headline taking up so much real estate is essentially meaningless. The major takeaway/selling point of the ad is "no software, no hardware, just success" so why is that just an afterthought at the bottom?

I like it, and I think that Cloud Computer is such a big buzz phrase right now it deserves top billing. Salesforce is positioning themselves as thought leaders in Cloud Computer - so if you don't know what it is, don't worry, they do and they've got you covered.

How about putting this some where.
"Is it time you moved to the cloud?"

All the quotes are from big, established companies. Wondering if some representation from a company in the SMB space might cause the ad to resonate with a larger audience (given that Salesforce.com still meets the needs of smaller businesses exceptionally well).

Pretty good (certainly better than the Force.com re-branding idea)

1) Judi Sohn has an excellent point. Consider switching the position of the "no hardware" phrase with that of the (very attractive) "cloud computing" one. One might add the word "sales" to what now would be the lead in: NO HARDWARE, NO SOFTWARE, JUST SALES SUCCESS.
2) Dharmesh Shah has an excellent point. One of the three references should be from a small company, perhaps a start-up. Also one of the three should feature a woman.
3) Consider ending the ad with Amjad´s great phrase: "Isn´t it time you moved to the cloud?"
