With Winter ’07, you can achieve deeper collaboration with your partners on joint opportunities and deals. Empower your partners to jointly sell with your channel managers and salespeople with greater ease.
This feature is available in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions.
Feature Details
- Notes and Attachments on All Objects: Partners can add notes and upload attachments to any object exposed in the portal, such as leads, opportunities, or custom objects.
- Joint Activity Management: Partners can create a task in the portal, in the context of a deal or other object, and assign it to other users in their company as well as to their channel managers. Tasks are subject to regular workflow and notification rules.
- Product Selection: Partners can add product line items to opportunities in the portal to indicate the customer’s product interest. Product line items will be priced based on the price book that is associated with that partner.
Note:Product line items on partner opportunities is scheduled to be available at an unspecified date after the release of Winter ’07. Contact your customer success manager or salesforce.com representative for more details.
