- Custom Objects and List Views: Enhance the rich lead management capability provided by Salesforce PRM or create entirely new channel processes using custom objects and custom list views. Winter ’07 allows you to expose custom objects and list views created in Salesforce to your partners via the partner portal.
- Solutions: Enable your partners to provide excellent customer service to your joint customers. Your internal knowledge base built using Salesforce’s solutions capability is available to your partners through the portal with Winter ’07.
- Approval Inbox: The new approvals capability in Winter ’07 extends and automates your partner approval processes. Partners can see a list of all approval items as well as an up-to-the-minute status on those items in an approval inbox on the portal homepage. Partners can also submit approvals to their channel managers from the inbox.
- Branded Communication Templates: Winter ’07 includes new email templates for responses to requests for new login and password, password reset, and forgot password. You can set the “from” name and email address for these templates in order to brand all email communications with your company information.
