Hi Sam - the account maintenance and optimization services you refer to are generally performed for a fee by professional services organizations, advertising agencies, or SEM consultants.

Salesforce does offer Google AdWords quickstart packages and can get you started for a fee. Contact your sales rep or 1-800-NO SOFTWARE for more info on these packages.

Additionally, certfied Salesforce consulting partners such as Appirio, Avideon, Bluewolf, Theikos, and Sqware Peg can help to offer these services in your local area.

In addition to setting up Salesforce for Google Adwords, to achieve your goals, you need to setup Salesforce Web2Lead on your website, and load the Salesforce for Google Adwords javascript to your website pages. This will allow you to track lead conversion by Adword and Adword campaign. It gives you powerful insight into the intent of the lead when they arrive at your site. It's like "X-Ray Vision".

As you are doing this, we also recommend setting up Google Analytics and loading their javascript to your site at the same time. It's free and adds tremendous value as well.
