• Summarize Line Items: For organizations that track product sales as opportunity line items, line items fields can be summarized directly on the opportunity record. Total discount, total quantity, and other product line fields can be aggregated on the parent opportunity record.
• Calculate Discounts: You can now view the overall discount across all line items directly from the opportunity detail page by using a combination of custom formula fields and roll-up summary fields:Calculate item discounts for each line item with a custom formula field on Opportunity Product, summarize that value with a roll-up summary field on the Opportunity, and then calculate the total discount with a custom formula field on Opportunity.

Note: This feature is enabled by default. Professional Edition customers must have purchased opportunity products separately to use this feature. For all customers, if advanced currency management is enabled, this feature will not support the rollup of line item currency fields.
