Different mobile device users have different data needs: Some may want easy access to case updates, while others may want quick access to their top opportunities or daily tasks. With custom mobile list views, Spring ’08 enables administrators to deliver the flexibility and search speeds that their mobile users want. Users will gain productivity on the road by getting easy access to their most valued information quickly and efficiently.
- Custom List Views: Administrators can create custom list views for their users to give them simplified access to the data they need most often. Now instead of users customizing views on each device, administrators can make customize views for multiple mobile users at once from within the mobile admin console.
- Fast Filtering: With multiple custom list views, users can easily filter data and get to the information they need quickly and efficiently.
Note: This feature is enabled by default, but requires customization by an administrator in the set up area of Salesforce. Salesforce Mobile, including new custom mobile list views, is available in Professional and Enterprise Editions for an additional fee.
