Road warriors live by their mobile devices. With Spring ’08, Salesforce Mobile supports “person” accounts for better service for your individual clients not affiliated with an account in Salesforce. Users can look up, modify, and create new person accounts and related data right from their mobile devices.
- Business-to-Individual Activities: Work with business-to-consumer accounts directly from your mobile device: Make and log calls, send and log emails, and create appointments.
- Business-to-Individual Account Management: Find accurate, up-to-date information for client management activities. Improve forecast and customer service with the ability to update account and sales information when away from the office.
Note: This feature is enabled by default and requires administrator customization in the set up area of Salesforce. Salesforce Mobile, including the new ability to access person accounts in Salesforce via mobile devices, is available in Professional and Enterprise Editions for an additional fee.
