Visualforce has everything developers need to build rich, interactive applications and user experiences for a variety of audiences, applications, and devices. Developers are finally free to reinvent traditional Salesforce interfaces or create new interfaces for custom applications.
- Component Developer Kit: Visualforce has over 50 components that correspond to standard Salesforce UI elements. You can also create and leverage your own custom components to decrease development time and to promote predictability and consistent usability.
- New Standard Components: Two new Visualforce standard components—pageBlockList and actionFunction—make it easy to generate lists of Salesforce records and to leverage JavaScript libraries, without worrying about structure or style sheets.
