With Spring ’08, business-to-consumer companies can better serve individual customers (not affiliated with an account in Salesforce) in an efficient and cost-effective fashion. Administrators can grant portal access to individuals (“person” accounts) and provide them with best-in-class, 24/7 self-service.
Note: This feature is enabled by default but requires administrator customization in the set up area of Salesforce.
