Extended Campaign Member Tracking

Email Relay

Route Salesforce Emails through Your Own Email Server

  • Get better email auditing and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Provide secure delivery of emails between Salesforce and your mail server
  • Enable content filtering and decrease blocking of outbound emails

Spring ’07 provides companies with much greater control over email messages sent from the Salesforce application. With Spring ’07, you can archive emails, append disclaimers, and do content filtering to meet regulatory compliance requirements. When email relaying is activated, Salesforce-generated emails will be delivered by your company’s mail server, not by Salesforce.


Note: To activate this feature, your company’s email administrator must first enable email relaying for your domain. In addition, you must contact salesforce.com customer support to enable email relaying.
