On Saturday October 27th 2008, in the New York Times business section is an article entitled "The Broker Rebellion." The article talks about the exodus of brokers from big institutions and the decision to go independent.

    “Brokers are walking out the door,” said Brad Hintz, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein & Company.
