    I read an article in the New York Times written by Janet Rae-Dupree called "Teamwork, the True Mother of Invention."  The article starts with a Japanese proverb:  "None of us is as smart as all of us."

    The article talks about non-competitive ways across company and organization lines to share ideas and solve problems. A health care example is cited showing how an innovation arm of KaiserKaiserblogposting Permanente involving 767 nurses and 36 hospitals together identified areas of improvement  such as care coordinations, patient communications, and medication administration.   The group think at Kaiser drove innovation to be accomplished in less than a year rather than 2 years.     This story got me thinking.
