The announcement of the development kit for iPhone has been one of the year's most exciting events for the mobile market! On March 6th, Salesforce was on stage demonstrating how saleforce.com SaaS and Force.com applications could be presented on the iPhone. This technology demonstration was the result of one developer's work over the course of two weeks.

The capabilities of the SDK  and the iPhone platform are incredible. This revolutionary device brings the user experience to a new level. Multitouch screen and accelerometers make the navigation powerful and extremely fun. With this device, developers have the ability to build rich applications, almost as if they were being built for a laptop.

The Salesforce Mobile team is currently defining the roadmap for the iPhone application, and the goal is to use all the features provided by this device.
